Why do I need cuticle oil?

What makes Cuticle Buddy® different from other cuticle oils?
Cuticle Buddy® is the first cuticle oil of its kind as it's the most portable cuticle oil out there. It makes it easy to get into the habit of oiling up regularly by serving as a constant reminder to oil up. Furthermore, we use only the finest ingredients hand-picked for optimal nail health. What's the difference between all of the Cuticle Buddies?
All the Cuticle Buddies will moisturize, restore, strengthen and help your nails grow as well-oiled nails bend instead of break and are less susceptible to peeling and splitting. However, Cuticle Buddy® Soothing is unique in that the peppermint helps to numb any pain you may have from inflamed or sore cuticles. The tea tree in Cuticle Buddy® Cleansing has anti-bacterial properties making it a perfect option to restore moisture after washing your hands while keeping them clean. What's that floating inside Cuticle Buddy®?
Each Cuticle Buddy® has a different matching stone that floats inside. The stones help keep the oil mixed and are fun to watch!
How often should I use Cuticle Buddy®?
We recommend applying Cuticle Buddy® at least 2-3 times a day. Our founder Meech usually applies it morning, night and after washing her hands to restore moisture.
How long until I start seeing results?
If you are diligent with using Cuticle Buddy®, you can see softer skin and stronger nails in as little as 1 week! Some extra nail care tips include wearing gloves when washing dishes or cleaning, not using your nails as tools (scratching, opening cans etc) and keeping your nails painted for an added layer of protection.
What are the ingredients in Cuticle Buddy®?
All of our Cuticle Buddy® variations have the same base formula hand-picked for optimal nail health: organic jojoba oil, organic macadamia nut oil, organic argan oil, organic sweet almond oil, wheat germ oil, organic apricot kernel oil and organic castor oil. Each variation comes with a different, all-natural fragrance using essential oils.
Do you test on animals?
We do not test on animals and do not use any ingredients that have been tested on animals before. Cuticle Buddy® is also vegan and paraben-free.
Shipping & Payment
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Paypal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Will I be charged sales tax?
Sales tax is only charged for Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Virginia residents.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do! Please make sure your country's postal service isn't affected by COVID-19 before placing an order.
What is the shipping cost?
For US customers, shipping is $3 for orders under $30, and free for orders over $30. The shipping cost to Canada is $9 and $11 for the rest of the world. International orders over $75 get free shipping. We are not responsible for any customs, duties, or taxes.
How long does it take to receive my items?
We ship all orders out within 14 days. Please note that this period does not include federal holidays. If there will be a significant delay in the shipping of your order, we'll notify you! For customers in the United States, items are shipped via USPS First Class Mail and typically take 3-5 days to arrive once shipped. For international customers, shipping generally takes between 1-4 weeks to arrive. Please be advised that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there may be delays in shipping times out of our control. Do you offer expedited shipping?
We do not offer expedited shipping at this time.
What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of the product and the current COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot accept returns on items that have been used. My rollerball isn't rolling and no oil is coming out!
Oh no! Please try these troubleshooting tips and see if one helps: Tip 1: Make sure no stones are stuck near the opening that would clog it. Tip 2: Give the bottle a shake. Tip 3: Hold the bottle and use your thumb to press down hard on the rollerball. If you have one of our rollerball remover tools, you can also use the middle hole! If neither of these steps help, please reach out to us and we would be more than happy to send a replacement rollerball piece your way!
Why hasn’t my order shipped yet?
All orders are shipped in 14 days. Please note that this does not include the day the order was placed and federal holidays. If your order is within that time period, please be assured that it will be shipped on time! If it’s past that period, reach out to us so we can take a look at what’s going on. Thank you for your patience during this busy time for NBM’s one-woman show!
My order was shipped but there’s no updates on the tracking.
It usually takes 24-48 hours for the tracking to show any updates! There are even some instances where the tracking never updates at all and the package just ends up showing up. Unfortunately, NBM has no control over the tracking information but be assured that if you got an e-mail that your order was shipped, it’s on the way!
Tracking shows my order was delivered but I didn’t get anything.
Sometimes, USPS marks packages as delivered and they end up coming a few days later. Please give it some time! We also recommend checking any available security footage and with neighbors to make sure it wasn’t stolen or delivered to the wrong house by accident. If it still doesn’t arrive a few days later or if you think it was stolen, reach out and we’ll be happy to help!
Do you have a loyalty program?

What else can I do to take care of my nails?
Try to limit your exposure to water as it's the most drying thing you can do to your hands; wear gloves when washing dishes and cleaning. Of course, we are all washing our hands more often than usual so make sure to restore the moisture by applying Cuticle Buddy® and/or a good hand cream after washing. Don't use your nails as tools, no scratching or opening cans with them! Lastly, keeping your nails painted adds an extra layer of protection, even if it's just a clear coat.
