While we love the bamboo caps that have been with us from the start, they have unfortunately become too unreliable for our use. This switch was made from your feedback and an effort to create a more reliable cap experience while maintaining the classic Cuticle Buddy look as much as we can.

It's fine. I bought them because the person who recommended this company to me said the bamboo caps tend to split after a while. So i ordered back-up caps. Well the bottles I ordered came with the aluminum caps already, so I dont really need them.
It seems sturdier than the old bamboo caps!
