Frequently Asked Questions

What are some other nail care tips that will help my nails grow long and strong?

Some extra nail care tips include wearing gloves when washing dishes or cleaning, not using your nails as tools (no scratching at stickers or other things, no opening cans with them etc) and never peeling or ripping off nail/gel polish or acrylics. All of these things weaken your nails, making them more prone to breakage! Keeping your nails painted adds an extra layer of protection, even if it's just a clear coat.

How long until I start seeing results?

If you are diligent with using Cuticle Buddy®, you can see softer skin and stronger nails in as little as 1 week!

How often should I use Cuticle Buddy®?

We recommend applying Cuticle Buddy® at least 2-3 times a day. Our founder Meech usually applies it morning, night and after washing her hands to restore moisture.

How long does shipping take, and how much will it cost me?

We ship all orders out within 7-14 days unless the post office is closed (federal US holidays and Sundays). If there will be a significant delay in the shipping of your order, we'll notify you! For customers in the United States, items are shipped via USPS First Class Mail and typically take 3-5 days to arrive. Shipping is $4 for orders under $50, and free for orders over $50. For international customers, shipping generally takes between 1-4 weeks. The shipping cost to Canada is $11 and $13 for the rest of the world. International shipping is free for orders $100+. We are not responsible for any customs, duties, or taxes. Please be advised there may be delays in shipping times out of our control. What is your return policy?

Due to the personal care nature of the product, we cannot accept returns on items that have been opened and used. What's the difference between all of the Cuticle Buddies?

How you doin'?

I’m Michelle aka Meech, the M in NBM (Nails by Meech) I’m 30, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I have been interested in nails and nail art since 2013, even going so far as to attend nail tech school! Before then, I was a nail biter for my whole life. On my nail care journey, I realized most people don't know much about nail care, and what they did “know” was mostly myths and misconceptions. Being a child of immigrant parents, the “American dream” was very prevalent growing up. I worked countless jobs since 14, my first one at McDonald’s and my last one a legal process server. After graduating college with a degree in marketing, I applied to over 100 jobs and just wasn’t getting hired. In an effort to make nail health more mainstream and my American Dream a reality, Cuticle Buddy® was born in 2020! Thank you for reading and for visiting my shop.
