How you doin’?
I’m Michelle aka Meech! I have been interested in nails and nail art since 2013, even going so far as to attend nail tech school. Before then, I was a nail biter for my whole life. Click here to read about my nail health journey!
I'm 24, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I can read, write and speak Russian. I like to do nail art, cook and watch way too much reality TV. I once flew a small plane in high school for a flight science class I had. I love animals, especially dogs and wish I could save them all!
Being a child of immigrant parents like many people in Brooklyn, the concept of the “American Dream” was very much a reality. I've worked countless jobs all throughout school and college since I was 14, my first one being at McDonald's and my last one being a legal process server. After graduating college with a degree in marketing and dropping out of nail school, I applied to over a hundred jobs in my "field" and just wasn't getting hired.
Instead of letting my degree collect dust, I figured I would hire myself and turned to my passion of nail art for inspiration. Cuticle oil was a staple in my daily beauty routine, but I quickly came to realize that for the majority of people, nail care ends once they leave the salon. Most people don't even know that cuticle oil is a thing! If we continue hair and skin care post-salon visit, why not nail care?! In an effort to make nail health more mainstream, Cuticle Buddy ® was born.
With it’s highly portable packaging, dry, unhealthy nails are a thing of the past when you have Cuticle Buddy ® by your side. Hand mixed in Brooklyn, NY from only the finest ingredients sourced from all over the world, Cuticle Buddy ® is the perfect blend of goodies for your nails. It’s vegan, all-natural, cruelty and paraben free formula is non-greasy, fast absorbing and smells great with NO artificial fragrances.
